Dave Upfold has a background of over 25 years experience in the Financial world as well as being involved in local Politics for 14 years.
He became involved in Politics because some one once said, "don't stand on the side line and complain - if you think you can make a difference, do it from within the system, not from outside" - so at the age of 26 he was elected to council and was Mayor of Queensburgh, Durban from 1992 - 1995.
In 1992 Dave was given the  “ title “ of Alderman in recognition of his dedicated  and faithful service to the Community

Dave has also been involved for more than 30 years in the Entertainment business as a motivational speaker, compere, and for the past 15 years as magician and hypnotist.

An entertainer & stand up comic, Dave is able to deliver a message to the audience because he uses his unique brand of humour combined with magic.
He is a member of the Magic Lodge of South Africa & the Brotherhood of Auckland Magicians. Dave was trained by well known Hypnotheripist Verna Hindmarch in the art of Hypnosis and is a member of The South African Association of Hypnotherapists.
